The José Luis de Ugarte School of Sailing of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club completed the first test of its light sailing calendar, the Erecacho Trophy, on a weekend of much rain and cold, with wind of 10 knots from the north-west and sea of bottom of metro and half on the final routes. In the end, after the two days scheduled, they ended up as winners Nicolás Bastard in Optimist 1, with Bruno-varri and Andrea Criado in the second and third plaza; Gaspar Gallinger in Ilca6; Nerea Cereceda and José Mari Martínez in class 420 as they reassembled with three first positions in the second day; Ander Aguirre and Imanol Mendiguren in Feva; and Adrián Gainza among the smallest of Optimist 2.

The José Luis de Ugarte School of Sailing of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club began its light sailing calendar with the first day of the Erecacho Trophy, disputed with little rather changing wind of direction and intensity, between northwest and north, and with much rain, deep and cold sea wave. After the first tours established by the Committee he is leader Nicolás Bastard in Optimist 1 - with Bruno Miguvarri and Andrea Criado in the second and third place -; Gaspar Gallinger is first in ILCA 6; Natalia Miguvarri and Catalina López Linares in class 420; and Adrián Gainza among the smallest of Optimist 2.

Tomorrow Sunday the tests that will decide the first winners of the year in light sail are held.

The José Luis de Ugarte School of Selling of the Royal Abra Maritime Club-Real Sporting Club opens its calendar this weekend. After the J80 cruises and monotypes could not start the IV Digital Nautical Trophy by the time of last Saturday, now comes the turn of the light candle.

The first date of this season in this specialty is the Erecacho Trophy of this weekend in the Optimist, Ilca, 420 and Feva classes. This is how the first 2026 tours are scheduled in the different classes with tests that are used to prepare for the next championships. The promises of the candle keep their passion for this sport and improve their skills at sea in championships like this Erecacho Trophy.
