The President of Valencia, Carlos Torrado, in his intervention, wanted to emphasize that "for the Valencia Community, being able to have a competition of these characteristics in a month like this is a fabulous window for everyone," adding that "right now the Regata Optimist Torrevieja Euromarina is the one that has the most quality and is almost like a small world. For the regatists of our community and, specifically, this club is a fabulous opportunity."

The Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja 2026 is already sailing. The children's sailing event, which will take place from Thursday, January 29, to Sunday, February 1, has been presented today at the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja and in which it has had the presence of Diana Box, the sports councilwoman of the town of Torrevieja; Carlos Torrado, president of the Federation of Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana (FVCV); Patricia and Josephine Quesada co-directors of Euromarina and Carlos Carmona, president of the RCN Torrevieja, accompanied by Alejandra Sáez, Vocal.

The Torreviejense race has met all expectations in its 18th edition, bringing together more than 400 regatists from 28 countries. Today's presentation put into value not only the high participation, but, above all, the quality of the work carried out by the organizing committee in recent months.
