Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta launches its sixth edition, which will be held from September 17 to 20 in waters of Ibiza and Formentera. With the beginning of the sending of invitations, the organization begins preparations for a new edition of this consolidated event within the international calendar of superyacht races.

This event, of an exclusive nature and by invitation, brings together a carefully selected international fleet each year. The invitation process takes place in different stages, starting with the ships that have already participated in previous editions and subsequently extending to new sailboats that have shown interest in being part of the race, always in line with the spirit and format of the race.

As a novelty, the 2026 edition will be open to sailing boats from 80 feet in length, organized in different categories depending on their design, equipment and sports expectations. These include the Corinthian category, designed for non-professional crews and shipowners who want to compete without changing the ship's configuration in cruise mode, without the need to optimize their boats or meet complex technical requirements, promoting an inclusive and accessible spirit that is part of Ibiza's DNA.
