In January 2026, 176 recreational boats (including water bikes) were registered, 8.8% less than in January 2025.

This data represents a decrease of 8.8% from the same month of 2025, according to the data of the Recreation Market Report (January 2025), drawn up by ANEN on the basis of the records provided by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy. The 6-8 m (-40%) section also falls, with 21 registrations (11.9% market share). On the positive side, boat registration is growing between 8 and 12 meters, with 21 units (11.9% market share). The 12-16 m segment amounts to 4 enrolments (2.3% of the market).

On the other hand, vessels over 16 meters reach 9 enrollments (5.1%), 8 more records than in January 2025, in a context of volumes where each operation has a greater statistical impact. While the motor ships maintain leadership with 80 enrollments (45.5%) and a fall of 5.9% compared to January 2025.
