The Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club organizes its second championship this year 2026 for cruises and ships of the class J80 (Photo José Capeillo)

The II Social Trophy for J80 class cruises and monotypes, organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, begins this Sunday and consists of three days. After the Digital Nautical Trophy (final victory of the Mandovi dalecandELA of Ramón Zubiaga in the J80 class, the Rat Pack of Javier-varri in Regata and the Manila of Miguel Oraá in Cruciero II) comes to the Vizcaina waters of the Abra another championship that rewards the regularity of some crews that are prepared during this initial part of the season for the most relevant tests of the calendar. The absolute winners a year ago in this competition were the Biobizz in the J80 division, the Alpega in the Regata class, the Turi in Cruise I and the Txepin in Cruise II.

This Trophy has its opening on Sunday 22 in the Abra race field, with the exit for the J80 at 11 a.m. and for the cruises at 11.15 a.m., waiting for the weather conditions to accompany after this hard winter. Three days are scheduled, as it will also take place on March 14 and 28.
