The Spanish Pyragüism met at the Congress Palace of Gijón to enjoy its National Gala of Piragüismo which, in 2026, has held its four-year edition. It was an event in which the awards were given to the best palists of the 2024 and 2025 seasons, two historical years for our sport as in 2024 it was achieved the milestone of being the Spanish Olympic Federation with the most medals in the history of the Olympic Games and, in 2025, it achieved outstanding results in the two Olympic disciplines.
