The OptiGetxo-Trophy Regata José Luis Azqueta, in which you will sail about a hundred promises of the Basque candle, takes place this weekend of March 14 and 15 in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra. It will also serve as a good test for the Optimist Spanish Championship that will be held two weeks later in the same place. This competition meets its third edition in this first part of the schedule of tests organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club. Saturday tours will start at 13: 00 and Sunday at 12: 00, with the afternoon award once the classifications are established. They are scheduled at the Abra six sleeves, three for each day of competition.

For this Regata OptiGetxo-Memorial José Luis Azqueta the categories sub-11, sub-13 and sub-16 are established. There will be a hundred young promises from the Basque candle of the Royal Abra Maritime Club - Real Sporting Club, Nautical Club of Hondarribia, Real Nautical Club of San Sebastián or Nautical Club of Vitoria. A year ago it was imposed in the sub-16 Andrea Periotto category of the organizing club, with his fellow Nicolás Bastard in the second square and Laura Angulo in the third. Already in sub-13 category he won Diego Jáuregui, from the Nautico Club of Hondarribia, with Ibai Casasempere, from the Real Nautico Club of San Sebastián, in the second position. Third was Juana Bastard from the Sand Club. The sub-11 category was taken by the Viscaine Adela Penide, with her partner Mariana Arriola second and the Alavés Aratz Meza third.
