The third day of competition for the Spanish pre-Olympic sailing team in the mixed 470 European has had a very positive balance: Jordi Xammar and Marta Cardona rise two positions to place leaders, and Silvia Mas and Alejandro de Maqua climb six places to be seven. Today in the waters of Vilamoura, in the Portuguese Argarve, two tests of the three planned have been held, with winds of 10 knots.

At the beginning of the final series in the waters of the Portuguese town of Vilamoura, the Catalan mallorcan crew formed by Jordi Xammar (RCN Barcelona) and Marta Cardona (CN Arenal) has been one of the most solid of the Oro group. The defenders of the continental crown and current champions of the world have signed a fifth and a first, which together with the three points that have dragged them from their classification in the previous series (in the new competition format that is to be tested in this continental meeting) it is up to them in front of the table.

La Spanish crew has a six-point advantage over their persecutors, the Italians Elena Berta and Giulio Calabró, and eight over the third, the British Martin Wrigley and Bettine Harris.
