The European Championship of 470 Junta that is disputed in Vilamoura (Portugal) enters its final line with the Spanish crews still involved in the fight for the honours. After the fourth day of competition, Silvia Mas and Alejandro "Tano" of Maqua ascend to the fifth position of the provisional classification, while Jordi Xammar and Marta Cardona, who left as leaders today, close the day in the third place of the general.

For their part, the current world champions and advocates of the European title, Jordi Xammar (RCN Barcelona) and Marta Cardona (CN Arenal), were unable to retain the leadership with which they began the day and will face the penultimate day of the championship from the third provisional position after some 8- (13) -5.
