The Mallorca Sailing Center Regatta convokes this weekend in Palma Bay in half of the classes that will compete for the 55 Trophy Princess Sofia Mallorca by Fergus Hotels. The test will have more than 300 teams of 41 nationalities and is notable as the 49th Spanish Cup, 49erFX and Nacra 17

Five of the ten classes that will compete from March 27 to April 4 for the 2026 edition of the Sofia will play from March 12 to 15 the Mallorca Sailing Center Regatta. The test is open to the fleets of ILCA 6, ILCA 7, Nacra 17, 49er and 49erFX, with up to nine tests scheduled for each class between 13 and 15 March.

In addition to the absolute title in each category, classes 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 will play their 2026 Spanish Cup. The Galician brothers Jaime and Martín Wizner in 49er category, and the Canaries Alicia Fras and Elena Barrio in 49erFX, have a title. The list of registered ones is 326 teams from 41 countries, highlighting the participation in category ILCA 6, which will have 115 ships, including about 60 Spanish pavilion. They will compete 69 ships in ILCA 7, 67 in 49er, 51 in 49erFX and 24 in Nacra 17.
