On March 28 and 29, València hosted the Windsurfing Autonomical Championship, organized next to the FVCV. The competition will feature the Techno, IQFoil, Windsurfer and Raceboard classes, bringing together the best regatists of the Valencia Community and Murcia Region (Photo Pep Portas)

The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia is hosting the Windsurfing Autonomical Championship this weekend, organized together with the Federation of Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana. The competition, which will include the Techno, IQFoil, Windsurfer and Raceboard classes, is developed under the Open category, which allows the participation of regatists from outside the Community and guarantees the presence of the Murcia Region fleet.

During these two days, the RCNV Regatas Base will house 60 regatists, pending the official closure of registration. Highlights are the Windsurfer and Techno SUB17 fleets, which have 28 participants. The fleets of Techno Plus (7), Techo SUB-15 (7), Raceboard (5), iQFoil (3), iQFoil SUB19 (5), iQFoil (SUB-17) (5), with a majority presence of the Valencia Community, will also be taken into the capital of the Turia.
